A Tale of Spices is a rare wee release from Glenmorangie, dreamt up by Dr Bill Lumsden and inspired by the bustle, colour and aroma of spice markets. Matured in an unusual mix of Moroccan red wine casks, new charred oak, Pedro Ximénez sherry and shaved, toasted red wine casks, it carries a depth and character you don’t often see in whisky. Bottled at 46% ABV and left non-chill filtered, it’s a bold dram that shows off Glenmorangie’s knack for innovation.
