With its name Alpha loosely translating to “superiority”, the whisky commands attention with its mysterious black packaging. “As a premium single malt, one of the key objectives is that we always create talking ability around the brand and the products,” explains the Brand Manager for Glenlivet. “The whisky was launched without any cask information or tasting notes, because we wanted to create a sort of mystery around the product,”
Nose - Sweet notes of orange and clove.
Palate - Smooth and rich, fruity with vanilla and a touch of spice.
Finish - Honey sweetness, warmng oak.
