Glengoyne have been distilling since 1820 and their 18 Year Old Highland Single Malt Whisky is a wonderful medium gold colour. 35% is matured in 1st fill European Oak, 15% 1st fill American oak and 50% hand selected casks.On the nose theres notes of red apple, ripe melon and brown sugar. On the palate, its full bodied and rich with notes of macerated fruits, marzipan, walnuts, spices, dry cocoa and Seville marmalade.It pairs wonderfully with roast meat, young fresh cheese and desserts like apple crumble.
