In the stillness of their quiet glen, they know
patience is rewarded. For every minute other
whiskies spend in their stills, theirs spends three.
Only then is it transferred to casks themselves
prepared for six years. This is the Glengoyne Way,
and this is the result; full bodied, round and
rich with notes of marzipan and a long, warm
finish. The taste of eighteen years in a generous
proportion of oloroso sherry casks.
Nose: Awash with red apple and ripe melon.
Heavenly and well rounded, it drifts into
hot porridge topped withbrown sugar.
Taste: Full bodied, round and rich. A
macerated fruits, marzipan and
walnuts; then warm spices, dry cocoa
and lingering Seville marmalade.
Finish: Long, warm and dry.
