70cl / 53.9% / Distillery Bottling - The whisky laid down by Glendronach in 1993 is widely considered amongst the distillery’s finest, so this is a very exciting release indeed. Drawn entirely from a Pedro Ximénez puncheon (cask #8005) and bottled at cask strength, it leads with hazelnut praline, fresh coffee, demerara, mulled wine and chocolate raisins on the nose, while the palate is redolent of spiced mocha, candied orange, ginger and walnut toffee. A luxuriant taste from an amazing moment in Glendronach’s history.
