"The 2001 Sorì San Lorenzo is the deepest and darkest of the single-vineyard wines from Barbaresco. It boasts a penetrating nose of tar and minerals along with very rich sweet dark fruit on a massive, structured frame of great thrust and length. It is a wine that will clearly require patience and reward cellaring." 95/100, Antonio Galloni, Vinous
