Owned and improved by Patrick Maroteaux since 1988, Château Branaire-Ducru is classified as 4ème Cru Classé and has steadily become one of the finest wineries in Bordeaux. Its 2014 red wine is sophisticated and precise, revealing an aroma of rich, spicy fruitcake, black fruit and fresh, floral and peppery notes. The tannins come thundering in at the finish, accompanied by another wave of concentrated Morello cherry fruit. It will pair wonderfully with duck, chicken, lamb, rare grilled beef and other roasted, braised, stewed and grilled dishes.13.5% ABV
