Emiliana Organic Viognier Tasting Notes by Wine Expert, David Andrews, DipWSET
On the nose this is classic Viognier, with stone fruits of nectarine and apricot. It was quite reminiscent of a creamy Greek yoghurt with a dash of honey. To taste, it is well rounded and explosive. Even more stone fruits come out with peach coming into the mix. It takes on a tropical hint of mango as well whilst a nougat/almond combo lend some weight to the palate. On the finish, there is a slight bitterness led by orange peel notes. Delicious!
