Located just to the west of Meursault, at a slightly higher altitude, the village of Saint-Romain produces affordable wines that express all of the characteristics of the great white wines of the Côte de Beaune, renowned for being the world’s most prized region for the production of Chardonnay. Our Saint-Romain offers an introduction to the white terroirs of the Côte de Beaune.
Brilliant pale yellow in colour with green highlights. Expressive nose with aromas of white flowers, apricot and peach complemented by a hint of nougat and hazelnut. The palate is full-bodied and complex, allying maturity and freshness with notes of baked goods, candied fruit and yuzu.
