Villa Maria has been cultivating Pinot Noir organically since 2010 and has been certified since 2012. The vineyards are both vibrant gardens of wild flowers and living soils. This cuvée expresses black fruits like boysenberries and blueberries with subtle floral notes and mild acidity. Soft tannins blend with notes of cocoa powder and pleasant smoke. Added to this is complexity on the palate with a generous textured finish. This wine goes well with lamb but is rich enough to enhance beef cheeks, it will also go well with mushrooms or truffle dishes to accentuate its earthy character, a delight!
