Philippe Pernot has half a hectare of decade-old vines in Perrières and they produce his finest Puligny 1er Cru. The vineyard is surrounded by Referts to the north, Combettes above and the monopole Clos de la Mouchère to the south. The soil is fairly stony, lending the wine a stony and flinty character. It feels compact, yet its drive and expansion lift the flavours perfectly.Bright gold in colour, this high-concentration white is full of complexity and has a wonderful mineral depth. Its fresh and floral on the nose, evoking stone fruit notes. A concoction of sweet pears, stone fruits and hazelnut delight the palate, while the finish is long and elegant. Enjoy with fish dishes and blue cheeses.13% ABV
