The name Les Damodes may come from a female trinity presiding over the good of the earth, or perhaps refers to some druidesses who were established in this area. This Nuits-Saint-Georges 'Les Damodes' 2007 is a powerful and elegant wine. Its nose releases a clever mix of crushed red fruits, dried herbs and burnt wood. It is supple on the palate and of great finesse. A little acidic, it contains aromas of liquorice, wood and very ripe fruits. Serve with: Beef Bourguignon, Game, Hard Cheeses
