This is a superb coup from extremely well-respected organic and biodynamic producer, Domaine Bott-Geyl. Current proprietor Jean-Christophe Bott (who has been at the reins since 1993) is heir to the family tradition dating back to 1795, when his ancestor, Jean-Martin Geyl tended his vines and made his wine. The estate's rose petal and lychee scented Gewurztraminer leaps from the glass, and makes a delicious aperitif as well as a fine acc ompaniment to spiced foods.
