Tasting note This is an elegant red from the cooler climes of Carneros, giving forth to aromas of strawberry, plum, allspice and clove. Wonderfully bright, vibrant fruit embrace the core of the palate, combining with a lively acidity and soft, supple tannins. A fun, yet well-rounded Pinot Noir with nice red fruits and earthier, dark fruits and a depth of fig and anise. Whilst Cuvaison’s winery is located in northern Napa Valley, its heart lies 40 miles southwest at the winery’s 400-acre Carneros estate. As one of the pioneers in Carneros, a site was chosen that was perfectly situated in order to express the full character and complexity of this unique terroir. In 2001 President Jay Schuppert and Winemaker Steven Rogstad oversaw the construction of a state-of-the-art facility, which was used to produce the delicious 2004 harvest. Most recently, in 2007, they converted to solar power, makin
