Wine Château Lagrezette - Château Lagrézette is this estate's premier cru. Recipient of many awards, this wine is a great vintage. The vines are cultivated in silty-clay soil on gravel over the Kimmeridgen bedrock, located 120-160 metres above sea level. The wine undergoes 16-18 months of barrel-ageing, of which 30% are new. The nose evokes aromas of black fruit, sweet spices and cacao. On the palate it is equally powerful, rounded and elegant with very good volume and depth. Opening it for at least an hour before serving will allow it to reveal its flavours.
