This crisp, dry white from Lazio near Rome comes from cellars carved out of stone over 500 years ago. The elephant on the label signifies the fossils found in the vineyard which is by a Roman road. It’s redolent of citrus, almonds and white peaches on the nose, with a bright, attractive and savoury palate with a hint of salinity that makes it perfect with salads, fish and soft cheeses.
