Cold Mountain Farm is named so because its climate is cool and it sits on the slopes of the Koue Berg Mountain ranges in South Africa. Because of these conditions, the Pinot Noir grapes that are blended to create the Brunia Wines Sondagskloof 2017 vintage are the result of a longer growing season and are picked by hand in the morning. After fermenting for 14 days, it’s transferred to French oak barrels for 10 months to create the full bodied, perfume wine.
