Wine Michele Satta - A tribute to the Tuscan maritime terroir, Michele Satta?s Bolgheri Rosso is the very first wine conceived by the winemaker in 1983, a year before the appellation was established. True to the pioneering estate, this cuvée stands out for its distinct identity and approachability. The blended grape varieties ? Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Teroldego ? are vinified separately, fully expressing the freshness and lightness of the young vines from which they are sourced. Aged for 12 months in cement vats and barrels, the 2024 vintage reveals an intensely fragrant, full-bodied and complex nose, with notes of plum, cherry and violet, mingled with marine and spicy hints. The palate, supple and medium-bodied, flows beautifully thanks to its refined tannins and well-balanced acidity. The finish, consistently elegant, rounds off this harmonious wine, perfect for convivial occasions.
