This is yet another limited edition bottling from the Black Flag range. Only 495 cases were made, partly because the rare 100+ year old vines only produce small yields. But what they lack in volume, they more than make up for in quality! This wine has earthy, dark carob like aromas with some cherry and tobacco. It's only medium bodied to look at but if you can stop smelling it long enough to have a mouthful it's packed to the brim with beautifully layered fruits and red liquorice, followed by soft yet somehow noticeably grainy tannins.
