This small batch premium Chardonnay is another belter from the Black Flag stable. For a wine that spent just under 12 months in newish oak, it's surprisingly subtle - but then again only the very best barrels were used to mature this wine. There's a touch of fine tannin and phenolics that wrap up the intensity of citrus and tropical fruit, leaving a really nice wine that should continue to gain complexity and intrigue over the next 5 - 7 years.
