So here's a village wine that excels, the quality being driven by young gun Ben Leroux. The fruit is taken from 50 year old vines and is vinified as a whole bunch with minimal interference. It's then partly aged in cracking foudres. The result is a stunning wine in terms of purity and finesse, as well as being soft and supple. Expect a smoky, red-fruit nose with floral highlights leading to a silky, deft palate that reflects the nose.
