A delicious mixture of spicy red berry fruit with dense and jammy blackcurrant compote, all wrapped up and softened by a layer of classy, sweet vanilla oak creating a complex, high-end Cape red with a rich, long and well-balanced finish. The grapes come from a couple of top-class vineyard sites in the exceptional Swartland region and are made into an impressive and impactful red by winemaker Alecia Boshoff, one of South Africa's very best.
