Lavradores de Feitoria Douro Branco, 2019: Very fresh and aromatic, with a vibrant nose of fresh citrus, apricot and pineapple. A classic Douro white with good minerality supported by flavours of ripe orchard and stone fruits. Superb value!
Clemens Busch Riesling Trocken vom roten Schiefer, 2015: "A very elegant, well balanced and mineral Riesling with juicy as well as finely piquant and spicy fruit expression. There is a lot of finesse and elegance in this wine, as well as a pretty long, intense and grippy finish." Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate
Jordan Inspector Péringuey Chenin Blanc, 2018: "The Jordan Inspector Péringuey Chenin Blanc, 2018 I’m sipping on in this evenings sun comes from Stellenbosch in South Africa. This has vibrant notes of pear, quince, lemon, honeydew melon, baked apple and a touch of butterscotch. It has been barrel fermented and matured sur lies (on its lees - dead yeast cells) for 8 months which imparts a lovely creamy richness and texture to the wine together along with a impressive finish. This is magnificent - a sophisticated summer quaffer." Angus, Wine Guru
Coffele, Soave Classico Castel Cerino DOC, 2018: "Pale lemon-gold. Smoky and meaty, with subtle sage-like herbal notes and apple fruit. Spicy and smoky sage and apple palate with phenolic grip, a touch of salt and a medium-long finish." 16 pts, Jancis Robinson
Joven Godello, Viña Barroca, 2019: Wonderfully fragrant, with ripe fruits and spices on a tapestry of earthy and floral aromas, this superstar from Vina Barroca hits the palate with a skilfully deft touch, before fully revealing itself in a long, dense and persistent finish.
Henschke Tilly's Vineyard, 2016:: "Beeswax, lime and gooseberry notes lead the way, followed by a light to medium-bodied wine with a plump mid-palate. It's subtle and understated, finishing with hints of gentle citrus." Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
