Wine AGNEAU SELECTION - Located in the heart of the Medoc, the prestigious Pauillac appellation is the birthplace of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. The weather for this vintage was very mild in Pauillac and Sélection Agneau is typical of its appellation - rich and full-bodied with a strong tannic structure. The nose is dominated by intense aromas of blackcurrant, complemented by notes of cumin and saffron. On the palate, the attack is soft but with plenty of depth. We find notes of blackcurrant and crushed blackberry too. The finish is long and complex and rounds off the demonstration of this terroir. A little wonder for any palate and you could even store it for years to come!
