This multi-award winning producer began production in 1902 and after nearly a century is still family run. Based in the picturesque Douro wine production region, this expression uses a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão and Tinta Roriz from Quinta De La Rosa’s A graded vineyards. This late bottled vintage is storied in large wooden casks called “tonels” for 4-6 years until ready for bottling. This LBV was bottled in March 2018. Keeping in line with the house style of Quinta de la Rosa; the resulting liquid is slightly drier than your typical port and pairs perfectly with mature cheeses.
