Made from Shiraz grapes grown in Steve Grimley's oldest section of McLaren Vale vines which date back over 120 years. The fruit was handpicked and fermented in small open fermenters for nearly three weeks before being transferred to an even mix of seasoned French and American oak for 18 months. It sings with dark berry fruit, toasty oak and bitter dark chocolate. This is small-batch, avant-garde winemaking at its best.
