This is the first release in the distillery's Xpedition Oak series: a collection of some of the oldest Talisker single malts that they have ever made. Shaped by the natural elements of the Isle of Skye, you can really get that signature maritime, peppery sea salt spray and smoky sweet character that Talisker is known for!
Talisker 43 Year Old is matured in American oak hogsheads, limited to a run of just 1830 bottles at a cask strength of 50% ABV. Finished in casks made of staves that have crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a voyage by British adventurer James Aiken, each bottle is accompanied by a piece of one of these staves.
