Following the roaring success of Smögen's Sherry Project 1, the small Swedish distillery is following it up with the aptly-named Sherry Project 2:1 This release of Sherry Project 2:1 has been made using heavily peated barley and has been matured in octave casks that previously held Oloroso Sherry. This is a limited release of 1,382 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Nose - Sherried orange peel, cherries, earthy peat and brandy butter.
Palate - Chewy treacle and molasses, with a good kick of Sherry-drench raisin. Fiery smoke and oily malt.
Finish - Strong coffee and burnt ends.
