Established in 2017, Lindores Abbey is known for its unique location and historical significance, as it is believed that the monks at Lindores Abbey were some of the first in Scotland to distill whisky.This latest bottling comes from its "Casks of Lindores" series, with the idea been that its a snapshot of the progression of the three core cask types. The second chapter in the series is made with local barley, aged in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at a limited-edition strength of 49.4% abv.
