This stunning single malt scotch whisky has be matured in a single ex pedro ximenez sherry butt cask ref: 1 producing 308 bottles. This 16 year old was distilled 15th April 2005 and bottled 10 June 2021 at 57.5% ABV
This expression has been bottled at cask strength to retain the whisky's unique and natural characteristics and subtlety of taste, and, by not chill-filtering this whisky it ensures that the aromatic components in the whisky are preserved to enhance presence and flavour.
Opened in 1825 Glencadam Distillery continues to produce its rather unique single malt scotch whisky in the same fashion as when it opened.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Elegant aromas of sweet raisins, cooked plum, milk chocolate and red grapes
Palate: warm pecan pie, maple syrup, prunes and oat biscuits with tobacco spice and nutmeg.
Finish: Long and warming with notes of fruit crumble, dates, charred oak and coffee grounds.
