The Gimblett Gravels vineyard is located in one of the warmest parts of New Zealand, making it one of the country's best locations for cultivation of red grapes, notably the classic Bordeaux varieties. This Bordeaux-style blend shows huge ripeness in its inky blackcurrant fruit, with an opulent and smoothly rounded texture. Persistent, complex sandalwood and mineral notes provide a long and engaging finish.
