After a break of 523 years, spirit is once again flowing from the copper stills at Lindores Abbey. As the officially recognised site of the first recorded distillation of Scotch Whisky back in 1494; this distillery certainly has some history. This bottling is a mixture of liquid that was matured in a selection of Bourbon Barrels, Wine Barriques and Sherry Butts. Please note that both the MCDXCIV releases from Lindores Abbey contain the exact same liquid, however the Commemorative First Release bottle has been specially labelled to celebrate the launch.
