This Highland single malt from Teaninich distillery was made in 2009 and matured in a single cask for 11 years, before being bottled in 2021 by Berry Bros & Rudd. Teaninich, located in the northeast Highlands, was founded in 1817. It produces malt whisky to meet high demand from blenders. Unlike other distilleries, Teaninich uses a mash filter rather than the conventional mash tun to extract the worts.
