In 1996, Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke purchased the former Liparita vineyard on Howell Mountain. They renamed this stunning 68-acre vineyard Keyes, after General John Keyes, a Howell Mountain pioneer and former California statesman. Lokoya forms part of the Jackson Family Wines and is one of California’s cult wineries, producing small amounts of site-specific Cabernet Sauvignon from low vigour mountain vineyard sites above Napa Valley. Only small parcels from their different vineyard sites are released each year, most of which is not exported, making it a
