One of the rising stars of the Burgundy micro-négociant movement, Australian-born Jane Eyre-Renard is one of our all time-favourite producers and the wines she’s been making in Burgundy are some of the most accessible in our whole portfolio. So, you can imagine our delight when we heard she was going back to her roots to make some wines Down Under!
The most recent addition to Jane’s Australian portfolio, the fruit comes from The Yarra’s Thousand Candles Farm, which is highly regarded for the calibre and subtlety of it Pinots.
A small portion of whole bunch pressing (10%) and a gentle extraction highlights the aromatic qualities of the grape. On the nose strawberries and wildflowers with potpourri-like nuances. The palate has a very succulent and juicy edge that emits freshness and crunchy appeal. Very bright finish, drink now!
