Olivier Lamy (Hubert's son) now heads up winemaking at this lovely Domaine and he has been instrumental in raising the reputation of the Saint-Aubin region. It is still regarded as one of the best value regions across the whole of Burgundy, which seems a little absurd considering this bottle is over £35, but when compared to top-end Puligny and Meursault it is still relatively affordable. The lifted nose is heavily scented with herbs, loads of citrus fruit, especially lemon. This is a tightly knit white from an excellent vintage that should be enjoyed over the next few years.
