Tasting note Derived from Barbados and Guyana, this fine rum spends five years in the Caribbean, followed by a further five years ageing in Spain, of which three years are in casks previously used to age their 20 Year Old Palo Cortado and two years in casks once used to age their 20 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Sherry, hence the name Dos Maderas PX5+5.
