Amazing wine at excellent price. Can't wait to try more and watching with interest how they go forward.

The 2015 silver award for this wine is not some accident by the tasting panel. For the price, the wine is remarkable. You feel you are in France and it's smooth and tasy. Even better if you decant it an hour before the drinking.

Having tried 'Bordeaux Superior' from Lidl and liked it I went back for more only to find that they no longer stocked it. The same story with Aldi so I went to ASDA. After much deliberation and reading the ASDA shelf label which stated that this was an 'easy drinking wine' I bought this. Having got home I opened the bottle, allowed to breathe and then poured a small amount into my glass. I was disappointed that it was not as 'drinkable' as ASDA claimed and found it much sharper than the wine I had had previously. I won't be buying it again and will now have to use it for cooking.
