A self proclaimed 250 years young, Hine has had a fair few centuries to become masters in the art of creating cognac. Each vintage in this trio matures in French oak casks, the aroma of the barrels blends with the floral notes of the grapes to create distinctive flavours unique to each one. The fresh fruitiness of 2005 makes way for a slightly bolder flavour in 2006 leading the way to 2008, a year that produced just 16 casks, that starts with buttery brioche and toasted almonds before leaving the lingering sweetness of candied ginger on your palate.
