What is Maibock?
Maibock is a pale German lager, also known as Heller Bock, that is brewed to be enjoyed in spring time. The name derives from "Mai" (May), as befits the seasonal time for drinking it.
It is a lighter, hoppier version of the traditional Bock with a malty base but mainly peppery, spicy notes due to its more hoppy nature than other Bock styles.
