Colchagua Wine

Lying to the south of Cachapoal, and encompassing the southern section of the Rapel valley, Colchagua is without doubt, one of the top quality red wine producing areas in Chile, delivering world class Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere and Syrah.

With a similar spread of vineyards as its northern Maipo and Cachapoal neighbours, and irrigated by the Tinguiririca river, which flows from the ubiquitous Andes, it naturally houses its top red production towards the centre and the east of the region, with the developing western coastal region producing increasingly high quality Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
