Leyda Valley is a premium wine producing sub-zone in San Antonio Valley. Despite only being planted in the late 1990s, it has gained a very good reputation for producing exceptional cool climate wines. The combination of foggy mornings, cool ocean breezes and bright afternoon sunshine bring about the perfect conditions for the grapes’ flavours to ripen while retaining acidity. As such, cool climate gems like Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah are the best from here.
