Lebeau-Batiste Brut Tradition is a beautifully crafted grower Champagne, aged on its lees for over two and a half years to build complexity and depth. The blend also includes 20% reserve wines from previous standout vintages – a hallmark of quality that adds richness rarely found in non-vintage Champagne.
Taste
Pale gold in the glass with fine, pearlescent bubbles, this wine opens with inviting aromas of white berries, citrus peel and warm almond croissants. The palate is rounded and generous, layered with red and white berries, crisp green apple, peach and a twist of lemon – all wrapped in a creamy, biscuity finish. A perfect match for smoked fish, soft white cheeses or cold roast chicken.
Blend: 60% Meunier - 30% Chardonnay - 10% Pinot Noir
About the Producer
Champagne Lebeau-Batiste is a boutique, family-owned estate just south of Champagne's main town, Épernay. The family has farmed these vineyards since the 14th century, and today Flo and Emilie craft a limited amount of what many critics consider to be among the finest grower Champagnes available.
