Creating the 2010 vintage was a daunting challenge – the harvest began with botrytis affecting the pinot noir, and part of the harvest had to be sacrificed so that only the best grapes could be saved, and thankfully the Dom Perignon mastery prevailed. The trajectory of the year and the decisions made resulted in a vigorous and graceful balance. The nose evokes both the freshness of an English garden after the rain and lushness of a tropical garden. It has an earthy depth that is echoed on the solid palate.
