The IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition) released their 2016 award winners for South Africa & South America with 1,291 medals awarded to wines from South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico.

South Africa with 692 medals (30 Gold & 9 Gold Outstanding)
Chile with 389 medals (2 Gold & 1 Gold Outstanding)
Argentina with 192 medals (4 Gold)
