Island Scotch Whisky

The region of producing whisky is a general term for Singly Malt Scotch Whisky produced the Islands around the perimeter of Scottish mainland. The exception is Islay, which is considered a separate whisky producing region due to its unique taste and heritage. Although often equated to Islay whisky Island whiskies hold little similarities and hold completely different characteristics according to which Island the whisky is from.
