About Rum

Rum is a distilled alcohol, produced from the sugar cane by a process of fermentation and distillation then ageing in oak barrels. Most notably produced in Caribbean and Latin American countries rum can also be found produced in Australia, Fiji and India. White Rums are commonly used in cocktails, where as Golden Rums and Dark Rums are typically consumed straight.
