Battlehill holds a historical significance in the battle for the throne between Robert The Bruce and John Comyn, as such it is a important land mark for Huntly town the home of Duncan Taylor. Battlehill range hold a significant role in the Duncan Taylor range, consisting of the finest single malt and grain whiskies aged up to 55 years old, distilled at some of Scotland's most premium distilleries.
This Battlehill was distilled at the Speyside Distillery Glenrothes. It has been aged in Oak casks and then finished of in the finest ex Cognac casks.

Tasting Notes
Nose- Soft and oaky with delicate spice, apple pie and vanilla sauce with a hint of boiled sweets.
Palate- Salty and drying with a richness and earthy note.
Finish- Sour apples with baked bread with persistent oak spice and a warming longevity.
