70cl / 55.5% / Gordon & MacPhail - Matured in a single refill bourbon barrel for 13 years, this 2005-vintage Aultmore was bottled in February 2019 by Gordon & MacPhail, for its Connoisseurs Choice series. The nose is full of tangy, creamy aromas of lemon curd, sherbet and vanilla ice cream, with rich malty undertones. The palate is well-rounded, notes of white pepper, vanilla and lime mingling with pink grapefruit and leafy, herbal notes. The finish is long and lingering, with charred oak and fresh lemon flavours fading gently.
