Mavrodaphne of Patras Wine Offers
Mavrodaphne of Patras is the red dessert wine of Greece, produced in the Patras region of the Peloponnese with its own protected status. The grape is of course Mavrodaphne, a dark-skinned native variety, and a little Korinthiaki is often blended in too.
After spending time in oak, stretching to a few years, the wine develops flavours of dried fruits (figs, raisins), caramel, chocolate, coffee, and spices along with a rich, velvety palate.
